Miami, FL (August 1, 2025) -  Javiera Electra, an emerging Chilean artist described as “one of Latin America's most captivating queer voices,” presents “del campo a Mar,” a preview of her highly anticipated debut album, due for release in October via SurPop Records, a Concepcion, Chile based independent label distributed by OneRPM. 

In June, Javiera released "El tiempo y la distancia entregan mucho más de lo que yo podría," which Mitú described as "ethereal, melancholic, and philosophical." This time, Javiera is expanding her alternative folk and pop soundscape with a bolero. With "del campo a Mar," the singer-songwriter reinforces her stylistic versatility through an intimate bolero of evocative and romantic imagery that travels from a minimalist whisper to a satisfying climax without losing its intimacy, taking advantage of its relatively short runtime — a delight of immaculate construction.

Highlighted as an artist to watch in 2025 by Rolling Stone and Remezcla, Javiera Electra doesn't just compose songs; she creates mythic universes. Javiera started out performing in public transportation and trans mutual aid communities in Valparaíso and Concepción, and has taken her DIY punk philosophy across South America, developing and creating a theatrical and captivating musical persona.

In addition to the release of her debut album, Javiera Electra is also gearing up for her performance at Ruidosa Fest this October in Santiago, where she will share the stage with Francisca Valenzuela, Villano Antillano, Princessa Alba, and many more.
